In close proximity to CRR there is target shooting at aerosol cans, manufactured exploding targets, fuel tanks and other incendiary flammable targets.

Use fee for recreational shooting makes great sense, but USDA NFS can only charge fees for facility use not charge fees based on type of activity as established at federal legislative level.
Setting up a managed designated shooting range also makes sense. Implementation of a managed range has multiple challenges and most established ranges in the US on forest service land have liability, administration, expense issues and typically attendance is low by local recreational shooters.
Hiring security or citizen patrols is predicted to be ineffective with 250,000+ acres to patrol.

- Description of individual(s)
- General weapon description, i.e. rifle, handgun, shotgun
- Individual is hit, property damage or person is in close proximity of a bullet landing.
- A shooter is observed not firing toward and into a solid earthen backdrop.
- Recreational shooting in an illegal location such as from a vehicle, within or toward community, Muckleshoot Land (Hancock managed), National Park.
- Shooting across or down a road, trail or waterway.
- Shooting at unlawful targets such as glass, pressurized cans, incendiary flammable targets, equipment, migrating fish, live trees.
- Observing a shooter leaving their target debris, casings, garbage.
